Another of San Diego’s equestrian communities,
Bonsall is a charming, rural
town in North County, located about 40 miles north of downtown
San Diego and 12 miles inland in the foothills of the Penninsular
Mountain Range. With a population of approximately 3,500

etc. Five Kentucky Derby winners have trained here as well
as numerous other stakes winners.
