Santee (population 53,000), is
a suburban, family-oriented community with a rural feel despite

Downtown Santee, Santee Trolley Square, is a thriving
706 acres master planned community for mixed use including shopping,
theatres, an amphitheater, a 104 acre corporate office park
and restaurants. From there, Santee residents can ride the Trolley
to Mission Valley, Downtown San Diego and as far as the Mexican
border.
Santee enjoys the highest median household income in
San Diego’s East County. Santee Real estate
consists of housing built mainly between the 1950s and the 1990s,
providing a well-designed mix of homes and neighborhoods. Young
families are attracted to the area because crime rates are low
and housing is relatively affordable. Santee’s middle-class
subdivisions are built on rolling hills. Single family
